Type any math expression directly into the Quick Launch Toolbar. The calculator detects it automatically and shows the result instantly.
- Basic arithmetic → 12+34*2 = 80 (respects order of operations)
- Percentages → 15% of 250 = 37.5
- Percentage markup → 20% more than 500 = 600
- Percentage discount → 20% off 450 = 360
- Tax calculations → 85 with 10% tax = 93.5
- Tip calculations → tip on 65 = 9.75 (defaults to 15%)
- Fractions → 1/4 of 200 = 50
- Bill splitting → split 240 by 4 = 60
- Averages → average of 80, 90, 70 = 80
- Totals → sum of 150, 200, 75 = 425
Every result also shows the number written in words. 30 displays with “Thirty” underneath.

- “20% off 500” → not 500 – (500 * 0.20)
- “half of 300” → not 300 / 2
- “85 with 10% tax” → not 85 * 1.10
- “20% more than 1000” → not 1000 * 1.20
- “discount 500 by 25%” → not 500 * 0.75
- “triple 450” → not 450 * 3
- “45 divided by 7” → not 45 / 7
You can even prefix with “what is” or “calculate.” Type “what’s 15% of 375” and it works.
Accurate Order of Operations
12 + 34 * 2 = 80. Not 92.
Browser Calculator respects mathematical precedence. Multiplication and division before addition and subtraction. Parentheses evaluated first.
12 + 34 * 2 → 12 + (34 * 2) → 12 + 68 = 80
It handles real math. Parentheses, nested expressions, decimals, negatives. Not a simple left-to-right calculator.
