A multi-version follow-up to v8.6 led by two big new surfaces. The ADHD Planner is a full-screen day manager with day/week/month views, drag-drop reordering, recurring tasks, subtasks with countdown timers, an idea dump, habits with charts, and cloud backup – all wired into the Quick Launch Toolbar. Its Mobile Companion is a phone-served planner with offline-resilient capture, voice dictation on the inbox page, and seamless sync through your own cloud connection. Private Drive also gets its own Mobile Companion – a standalone phone app with the full preview engine and crash-proof Android uploads.

The Screen Recorder levels up across the editor: MP4 import + export round-trip, 1440p / 2K export resolution, a background streaming export pipeline that keeps the editor responsive while encoding, and pixel-perfect WYSIWYG export with caches that make re-exports dramatically faster. Audio gets a brand-new Auto-Gain Envelope – smooth, editable, loudness-aware – replacing choppy per-region jumps. Speech Cleanup auto-detects ums, ahs, and dead air, then cuts them through the editor’s normal cut system. Auto-Captions arrive with word-level timing, B/I/R/U style toggles, and edit-without-losing-sync text editing.

Elsewhere: the Music Player goes cloud with playlist export/import, multi-select delete, 5-15× faster bulk imports, and Smart Mute auto-ducking when YouTube starts playing. AI Chat gains voice input, Screen OCR, and inline screenshot insertion. The Image Upscaler picks up an optional HD/Pro Cloud tier with a draggable before/after compare slider, and Screen OCR recognizes very wide single-line captures with no first-run lag.

Rounding things out: X-Ray Pro gains a HOVER mode for capturing menus and tooltips, OmniNotes adds an Ideas Inbox phone page that captures straight into the planner, the Quick Launch Toolbar gets keyboard-shield coverage on extension pages and roomier tab-find results, and a global Ctrl+Shift+? cheat sheet lists every custom keyboard shortcut in the extension.

This release is the biggest we’ve ever shipped. Fourteen brand-new features land in this version, backed by 181 refinements across every corner of the extension.

Two of them are full-blown apps. The Screen Recorder is a Loom-class recording tool that keeps recording even when you switch tabs, with a live camera bubble, mic-level meter, Picture-in-Picture controls, and auto-save so you never lose work. Its Editor opens the moment you stop recording – waveform timeline, draggable trim handles, background music, burnt-in subtitles, studio-grade noise suppression, and cloud sharing that’s five to ten times faster than before. Private Drive is a standalone cloud file manager with familiar folders, multi-select, drag-and-drop uploads, and password-protected shares.

Alongside those, the Video Library organizes every recording into folders with thumbnails, favourites, and secure shares. OmniNotes adds rich-text notes to any recording or on its own, with encrypted cloud backups. The Technology Profiler detects 1,236 technologies on any website in a single scan. The Image Upscaler runs AI upscaling on your GPU with Photo and Logo modes across four scales – zero uploads. Voice Dictation Anywhere types whatever you say into any field on any page.

Rounding things out: Multi-Tab Content Search lets you f. through every tab in every window in about two seconds, the YouTube Sign Out Blocker prevents accidental sign-outs, the Bug Report form captures a screen recording with one click, the Mouse Launcher dropdown now lists every major app and shortcut, the Cookie Consent Auto-Dismisser hides banners everywhere, and the upgraded Screen OCR reads small text more accurately.
