7 Fonts. 3 Themes. Zero Distractions.

Minimal Reader

You opened one article. Now you’re buried in popups, auto-playing videos, and 6,000 pixels of noise. Other reader modes strip the page and hand you plain text. This one strips it and adapts — focus ruler for ADHD, OpenDyslexic for dyslexia, stop-word fading for speed readers.

Your articles. Your fonts. Your rules.

A Reader Mode with 22 Configurable Options

Seven Font Families. Three Themes. Every Setting Persists.

Most reader modes give you one thing: less noise. White background. Default font. Maybe a dark mode if you’re lucky.

This one gives you 22 configurable options spread across seven feature panels. Every one of them saves. Every one of them persists. Open an article tomorrow and your reader looks exactly the way you left it.

  • System DefaultYour OS native font — clean, familiar reading
  • GeorgiaElegant serif for long-form articles
  • ArialClean sans-serif for technical documentation
  • Times New RomanClassic serif for academic papers
  • VerdanaWide sans-serif for small screen readability
  • Courier NewMonospace for code-heavy articles
  • OpenDyslexicWeighted-bottom letterforms for dyslexic readers

OpenDyslexic is bundled locally — not loaded from a CDN. Heavy-bottomed letterforms prevent letters from flipping, rotating, or swapping. Both regular and bold weights included.

Focus Ruler & Focus Mode
Guide the Eye. Dim the Noise.

A colored ruler for tracking lines. Paragraph dimming for tunnel vision.

A horizontal colored bar fixed to your screen. Your eye reads a line, tracks to the ruler, moves to the next line. You never lose your place.

Six preset colors — Black, Purple, Blue, Red, Green, Orange — plus a custom hex input for any color.

  • Height1px to 100px — thin underline to full highlight bar
  • Position0% to 100% — where the ruler sits on screen
  • Opacity10% to 100% — fully transparent to fully solid
  • Show/HideQuick toggle without losing settings

Enable Focus Mode and every paragraph except the one you’re reading fades. Adjustable gutter width (0–200px) and text opacity (10–100%). Low opacity = aggressive dimming. High opacity = subtle.

Two tools working together: the ruler tracks your line, Focus Mode dims everything else.

Stop Word Fading

Ghost the filler. Read the meaning.

English has roughly 150 “stop words” — the, a, an, and, is, are, was, were, it, in, of, to. Filler. Structural glue. Your brain processes them automatically.

Stop Word Fading drops these words to a lower opacity. Nouns, verbs, and content words stay fully visible. Your eye naturally skips the faded words and lands on meaning.

Adjustable opacity: 10% to 100%. At 20%, stop words are barely visible. At 60%, they’re a subtle shade lighter than content words.

Same text. Less visual load. Faster comprehension without changing how you read.
