Two Ways to Check Keyword Density. Zero Tabs to Switch.

Keyword Density Checker

Other density extensions: a percentage in a popup. You see “1.85%” but not WHERE those keywords sit on the page.

SEO Time Machines: Select a word. Shift+W. Every instance highlights in color. Select another. Different color. Both visible at once.

Density number AND visual distribution. Without leaving the page.

The Old Way

A Number Without Context

Other keyword density extensions analyze your page and produce a percentage. That’s it. A number in a popup.

Where on the page are those keywords? Are they evenly distributed or stuffed into the first paragraph? Is your semantic cluster present across all sections or missing from half the content? The percentage alone doesn’t tell you.

You could Ctrl+F each keyword separately. But Ctrl+F doesn’t show density. It doesn’t show multiple keywords at once. And you lose the view every time you search for the next term.

Some extensions give you a static table of keyword frequencies. Better — but still no visual distribution. Still no way to see where semantic gaps live on the actual page.

Shift+W.
Instant Density With Page Highlighting.

Select a word. See its density. Every instance highlighted.

Select any word or phrase on the page. Press Shift+W.

A compact popup appears in the corner: density percentage, occurrence count, total page words. Every instance of that keyword highlights directly on the page.

Select another keyword. Shift+W again. It gets a different color. Both sets of highlights stay visible. Popups stack in the corner — one card per keyword.

10 cycling colors. Check 10 keywords and see all of them highlighted simultaneously across the content. See where each one clusters, where gaps appear, where stuffing happens.

This is what semantic clustering analysis looks like when it runs on the page itself. Select your primary keyword. See yellow across every section. Select a supporting entity. See green — but only in the first half. That gap is your content brief for the next edit.

Press ESC. All highlights and popups clear at once.
